Touati Gold Return and refund policy

As a consumer, when making an online purchase you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days. The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have received the product.

You can exercise your right of withdrawal within this period by sending us an unequivocal statement. You can do this in any of the following ways:

Returning the product

After informing us that you are withdrawing from the contract, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after giving that notice of withdrawal to:

Please include your name and order number where possible so that we can process the return correctly. Prior approval is not required to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, unless we have offered to cover this cost or the product was delivered damaged, defective or incorrectly. We recommend using a tracked shipping method. You remain responsible for the return shipment until we have received it, unless we appointed the carrier for the return ourselves.

Inspecting the product and diminished value

During the cooling-off period, you may only handle and inspect the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way as you would be able to in a physical shop.

For olive oil, this means that you may inspect the bottle, packaging, labelling and visible condition. If a bottle is opened or used and the statutory right of withdrawal has not been validly excluded, we may deduct an amount for diminished value to the extent that this resulted from handling the product beyond what was necessary to inspect it.

The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies, for example to products that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or have a limited shelf life. An exception for health protection or hygiene is applied only where the product is genuinely suitable for that exception, was delivered sealed and the seal was broken after delivery. Touati Gold does not apply statutory exceptions more broadly than permitted by law.

Refund after withdrawal

We will refund all payments received from you for the part of the order that you have withdrawn from, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us. Any additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

We will issue the refund no later than 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or until you provide evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method that does not incur any costs. We will not charge any fees for the refund.

Damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered products

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery. If a product is damaged, leaking, defective or incorrectly delivered, contact us at touatigold.cs@gmail.com. Include your order number and, if possible, photographs. Photographs can help us assess the issue quickly, but they do not limit your statutory rights.

If a product is defective or was delivered incorrectly, Touati Gold will bear the necessary costs of repair, replacement or return. Your statutory conformity rights remain fully applicable.

Gift cards

Only the statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply to gift cards and other products. An unused physical gift card is not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal. For digital content supplied immediately or a service that has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal can lapse only if all statutory conditions have been met, including, where required, your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you will lose the right of withdrawal.
