Origin & harvest
The name Touati Gold carries a deeper meaning. Touati is our family name, and 'gold' refers to 'liquid gold,' the term that has been used for centuries to describe high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Our family has been cultivating olive trees for generations.
Touati Gold Heritage comes from our own family olive grove in Kairouan, Tunisia. This extra virgin olive oil is made from the rare Tunisian Lagoumi olive, sourced from a single origin and never blended.
Heritage has a robust, vibrant flavor with a natural peppery finish. The olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed. This harvest has not yet taken place; the harvest period will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.
