Origin & harvest
The name Touati Gold carries a deeper meaning. Touati is our family name, and 'gold' refers to 'liquid gold,' the term that has been used for centuries for high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Our family has been cultivating olive trees for generations.
Touati Gold Delicate comes from the Kairouan region in central Tunisia. This extra virgin olive oil is made from the Tunisian Chemlali olive, sourced from a single origin and unblended.
Delicate has a mellow flavor with a mild peppery finish. The olives are hand-picked and cold-pressed. This harvest has not yet taken place; the harvest period will be announced as soon as it has been determined.
